Ashley, founder of Bubbly Hearts, grew up on Chicago’s South Side, where even basic necessities like laundry were often out of reach. Determined to bring dignity and care to her community, she started a nonprofit offering free laundry services.

As a new non-profit Ashley faced funding difficulties due to budget cuts. That's when Ashley thought, what if I just start a for profit product business to support the Bubbly Hearts mission? and Bubbly Hearts was born.
